St Paul’s wedding photography – Clare and Jeff
Clare and Jeff chose to get married in the magnificent St Paul’s cathedral as Clare has a family connection there. Lucky her! St Paul’s is the most iconic place for a wedding ceremony in London and it was a real treat for us to capture their ceremony with wedding photographs and film in these palatial surroundings. Who doesn’t want to be a St Pauls Wedding Photographer, especially when you think of the great people who have been allowed to get married in this special place!
Clare looked stunning in the dress that she bought at Pronovias. Its elegant body-skimming shape with a low scooped back and gentle fish tale kick-out shape really suited Clare’s slender frame, With the train giving her look the gravitas needed to walk up the aisle at St Paul’s. Clare’s look was complemented with some gorgeous Jimmy Choo shoes and an elegant bouquet of small white roses and green foliage created by Mary Jane Vaughn Flowers.

Jeff opted for a traditional black tuxedo by Dolce and Gabbana and some Christian Louboutin shoes (any less would have been letting the side down!) which worked perfectly with Clare’s look and the opulent and stately interiors of St Paul’s.
Unfortunately, it rained which is always a shame at a summer wedding but that certainly didn’t dampen any bodies spirits particularly as Clare’s friends had arranged to dress in specific colours from the rainbow. A great decision that really paid off with some fantastic images.
In fact, the vibe at the wedding was to go big and after such uncertain times, it was lovely to see Clare and Jeff’s guests go all out and enjoy the chance to get really dressed up.
After a beautiful ceremony, everybody headed to Vintry and Mercer Hotel for the reception. Vintry and Mercer is an uber-stylish luxury hotel in the heart of the city. The view from their roof terrace takes in London’s skyline from the dome of St Paul’s to the glass tip of the shard. Clare and Jeff’s guests enjoyed a really warm welcoming and some delicious food. Their modern yet cosy décor creates the perfect ambience for Clare and Jeff’s celebration.
Storytelling wedding photography at St Paul’s
Now we love little touches at weddings as they tell us something of our couples’ personalities. At Clare and Jeff’s wedding, they’d thoughtfully created little bags of their favourite sweets for their guests to snack on during the wedding.
After the wedding reception, the most dedicated celebrators relocated to Vintry and Mercer’s underground bar for cocktails.
An elegant and luxurious wedding for Clare and Jeff at an iconic location. We loved that Clare and Jeff created their own wedding on their terms and in doing so, created a truly memorable wedding day for themselves and their guests.
