The seaside town of Trani has its own cathedral and castle and the seaside town of Gallipolli has original underground Olive Mills. Of the sunshine. As Puglia is situated in the very south of Italy it has a fantastic climate with temperatures in the 20’s from April to August. So, if you want to avoid the hottest months of July and August you can still enjoy fantastic weather for a late Spring or early Autumn wedding. And as you are never far from the coast there’s always a light warm breeze to stop you from feeling too hot.
When I shoot wedding photography in Puglia, I love that the climate means the wedding doesn’t need to take itself indoors as soon as the sun starts to set.

It’s not too busy. The Italians have done their best to keep Puglia a secret as they like to holiday there themselves (a bit like us and Cornwall). This has contributed to the area remaining so unspoilt and authentic. Though the very fact that I am writing about it is evidence that it’s gaining in popularity so hurry and be the first amongst everybody you know to have a wedding in Puglia.
Another thing I love about being a Puglia wedding photographer is wowing people with images that show just how beautiful this region of Italy is.
