Osmaston Park wedding photography – Trish and Viraj’s Day
We always love capturing wedding photography at Osmaston Park. This stunning luxury marquee wedding venue sits in 3000 acres of beautiful parkland, lakes and woodlands and enjoys magnificent views of the Peak District. Trish and Viraj couldn’t have chosen a more idyllic setting for their summer wedding.
We first met these two when we captured their pre-wedding photoshoot in London, so it was great to see them again.
On the day, both Trish and Viraj got ready at the nearby hotel and we got some great images and film of them making their final preparations before heading to the wedding at Osmaston Park.
Trish looked amazing in her traditional red dress that she looked and felt like a princess in. She bought it at Kiran’s Birmingham and teamed it with stunning jewellery and beautiful hair and make-up by Bhavnisha Beauty. Viraj looked very smart in a traditional white sherwani by award-winning designer Arrinder Bhullar.
Viraj’s sister surprised him by arranging for a horse to carry him to the wedding. Viraj was so surprised and it really added an air of grandeur to his groom’s baraat that included dhol drummers Drumology Entertainment. As experienced Hindu wedding photographers and videographers, we love capturing all the colour, music, dancing and sheer joy that comes with traditional Hindu weddings. It really suits our style of documentary wedding photography.

Viraj wasn’t the only one making an entrance, Trish and Viraj’s son Kai arrived in his own toy white electric convertible car, looking very pleased with himself!
The marquee at Osmaston Park looked amazing and it was a team accomplishment by wedding planner Boelle Events, mandap decorators Gayatri weddings and Osmanton Park’s wedding co-ordinator Grace. It looked stunning, Trish and Viraj wanted a boho vibe and achieved it with beautiful floral arrangements with lots of pampas grass.
The ceremony was conducted by the Hindu priest Vaisnava and included traditional Hindu rituals. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed drinks and canapes with cocktails by Crush Cocktail Bars and live entertainment by a violinist from Bollywood Strings.
Food was a very important aspect of the day for Trish and Viraj and they hired Chana Catering who provided a delicious array of food all day. From buffet-style arrival snacks and drinks to floating canapes to a sit-down three-course meal. There was also a delicious homemade cake decorated with white flowers made by Nicki from Adore A Cake.
Whilst eating guests were entertained by saxophonist Samantha Jayne.
After the starters, speeches were given by Viraj’s sisters Anj and Chan and Trish’s sister Sarah. Then Viraj gave a speech. The speeches were very heartfelt and went down very well with everybody.
Storytelling wedding videography at Osmaston Park
For the evening, the party really started with the dhol drummers and saxophonists performing again alongside the DJ. As experienced Hindu wedding photographers and videographers, we know the only place to be in the evening is on the dancefloor. So as always, we got stuck in and got some amazing images and film.
