Your relationship as a couple is unique and the pre-wedding shoot is our chance to get to know you both, to see how you interact, and to listen to what’s important to you. We’ll also show you how easy it is to be on camera, so whether you’re used to it or not, you’ll be able to relax knowing we’re capturing everything important to you.

We work hard to create a relaxed and fun atmosphere. This allows you to be yourselves, helps portray authenticity, and gives us the freedom to be creative and really explore ideas. We’ll give you a little gentle direction but will keep things natural and relaxed for you.

We’re confident that even within the first few moments, we’ll be able to capture something you’ll be ecstatic about.

Some couples just want an all natural session, whilst others want to take advantage of our award winning super artistic style, others want a varying mix of the two. We’ll work with you to achieve that perfect balance.

We hope this means you’ll end up with images and/or film that whilst wows and impresses also shows off who you really are.

We love to capture destination pre-wedding shoots…

We shoot weddings all over the World and spend a fair amount of time traveling to different countries to capture destination weddings. This means if you want a destination pre-wedding shoot, we can make that happen pretty easily.

We have captured pre-wedding shoots in Paris, Rome, Ireland, Iceland, Hong Kong and New York and would love to keep adding to this list.

Whilst the pre-wedding shoot is included in our wedding packages and we are wedding photographers, we also get many couples not yet engaged booking photoshoots with us. Perhaps you want a photo session to remember your time in the UK (or anywhere else in the world), to celebrate your relationship or a milestone, or to create some fantastic mementoes of this time in your life. So, no, you don’t have to be engaged.

We get many requests from couples who booked other companies for their wedding and sadly either missed out on good couple photos on their day, didn’t have the time, or just, in hindsight, don’t connect with those photos anymore. So, they book a session with us.

We also get couples who want to celebrate a special anniversary or just want to celebrate where their relationship is now and where they are heading.

We are obsessed with light; it’s the number one thing we use to play around and get creative. Therefore, we prefer an early morning (just after sunrise) or early evening in beautiful golden light. However, depending on your needs and plans, we can make any time of day work.

Wear anything you feel good in, whatever makes you comfortable. Dress up, dress down, smart, casual… it’s entirely up to you. Your choice of outfits can provide us with visual inspiration and give us an idea of the vibe you want from your session. The main thing we want is for you to be yourselves. If you try to be anything different, it wouldn’t look or feel natural.

If you have booked us for your wedding, the best location for your complimentary pre-wedding shoot is either Holland Park if you like a more natural type vibe, or the Southbank if you want more of an urban feel.
If you’re looking to upgrade your engagement shoot or are booking a pre-wedding shoot with us independently, we’ll provide you with some details of the options available; just get in touch.

If you think bad weather is bad for photography and videography, we are sorry to say, you’re wrong! We have captured wedding and pre-wedding shoots in all sorts of weather, from torrential rain and hurricane winds to blistering heat and direct sun. It just means we need to be even more creative, sometimes having to think outside the box can produce amazing results that you weren’t expecting, whatever the weather.

If your engagement session is included in your wedding package then it’s usually up to one hour. This gives us time to show you a few things, get to know you and capture enough images and film for you. If you are looking for a more bespoke experience, we can accommodate anything from one hour to a whole day. Longer, upgraded shoots give you time to include outfit changes, multiple locations, and maybe even some extra activities

95% of the couples we work with are apprehensive about getting in front of the camera – it is a completely normal feeling. However, we’re confident that by the end of the session, you’ll be amazed at the results and how easy it was. Dare we say it, how much fun you had!!
We’d prefer for the whole session to feel like you were just hanging out with some friends, having a laugh, and doing some fun things… but your new friends just happened to have cameras!
