Gemma and Sam met over ten years ago in a nightclub in Watford…..hold on, it does get better…. That night Sam, according to his best man Stuart, came home and said, “…I’ve met ‘the one’…” and so he had.  That journey led them all the way to their Pembroke Lodge Wedding in Richmond and what a venue this is, we love this place so much that we didn’t think twice about adding it to our top wedding venues in London.  It was definitely worth waiting for.  It was a scorcher of a day which was amazing as it had been forecast thunderstorms and so the guests were able to make use of the beautiful terrace.
We too were able to make good use of the light and it’s amazing when you get couples like Gemma and Sam who said to me “…don’t worry about shooting table plans and settings, just concentrate on the moments, the people, the good stuff, that’s more important…”. Â It kind of gives you a liberty to just flow with the day and see what you can create and I love that. Â Gemma got ready at the Richmond Hill Hotel surrounded by her bridesmaids and best friends and aside from a little hick-up with the taxis, where yours truly was able to step in to double up as an impromptu taxi service, they managed to make it on time! (So glad I got my car cleaned this week…HAHA).
There Sam was waiting having gotten ready surrounded by his good friends. Â Later on they were able to dance the night away which led to a fantastic sparkler send-off.
Congratulations Gemma & Sam and thanks for letting me be part of your amazing day….you guys ROCK! Here’s some from the day….
