When we shoot Grand Connaught Rooms wedding photography, we love the opulent interiors. The crystal chandeliers, 42-foot high ornate domed ceiling, beautifully detailed wood panelling and the magnificent circular centre piece bar all make the most fantastic backdrops in our images.

Their many spaces can accommodate weddings from intimate and cosy to grand celebrations. And with the capacity for up to 750 guests it is the perfect wedding venue for large and Asian weddings.

So, if you’re looking a wedding venue that is the absolute last word in old-fashioned all-out glamour in central London then the Grand Connaught Rooms is definitely the wedding venue for you.

Looking for an unusual and original wedding venue. How about getting married in a historical rum warehouse just a stones’ throw away from Canary Wharf. The Museum of London’s Docklands on West India Quay is home to Rum and Sugar. The museum is a Grade I listed Georgian Warehouse that celebrates London’s rich docklands history.

Rum and Sugar can be hired for weddings. A bar and restaurant dedicated to the glory of rum (they have over 200 varieties!) they also specialise in Caribbean dishes. Ensuring that wedding food at your wedding is tasty, colourful and unforgettable. No boring formal wedding breakfasts here! Wooden Floors, oak beams and exposed brick work walls give the venue a quirky, classy and industrial feel that makes a great backdrop in our images.

When we shoot wedding photography at Rum and Sugar, we always love the buzzing atmosphere created by the Caribbean vibe combined with the original 1800’s features of the fascinating building and its history. In finer weather wedding celebrations spill out onto Rum and Sugar’s gorgeous terrace.

So, if you’re serious about having a fun wedding. Check out Rum and Sugar at The Museum of London’s Docklands. And try one of their famous mojito’s whilst you’re at it. It would be rude not to.
