Hedsor House – Warren & Tom

We loved shooting Tom and Warren’s winter wedding at the elegant Hedsor House.  This Italianate-style mansion in Buckinghamshire is an award-winning country house wedding venue and was the perfect location for Tom and Warren’s stylish winter wonderland-themed wedding day.

On the day we caught up with Tom who was getting ready in Hedsor’s spectacular 2500sq ft bridal suite.  Tom looked fantastic in a white custom-designed suit made by Souster & Hicks.  Flowers and decorations on the day were the clever creation of the team at Ruby and Grace.  Tom’s bouquet was white roses with blue thistles.  Bridesmaids wore blue dresses with white rose bouquets.

The party descended the ornate staircase ready for Tom to make his entrance into the ceremony in the stately yet intimate Centre Hall.  The Centre Hall has a domed ceiling and a galleried landing, ornate pillars and a feature fireplace.  Tom and Warren had decorated it with simple and elegant candles and naked trees that along with some very clever lighting that was so romantic and atmospheric.

Warren also looked amazing in his custom-designed suit, the lining of which matched the material of Tom’s suits.  Warren was also wearing cufflinks with the couple’s new initials on them.

The ceremony was conducted by registrar Jenny Knight.  Who had been really helpful to Tom and Warren in the planning of the wedding and was really helpful on the day as well.

After a lovely and personal ceremony, everybody enjoyed a drinks reception outside and I got the chance to get some great images of Tom, Warren and their guests just mingling.

The wedding reception was held in Hedsor Hall’s magnificent ballroom.  This beautiful ballroom has oak panelling, ceiling-to-floor windows and stunning chandeliers.  The ballroom had been dressed beautifully in a winter wonderland theme with mercury glass candles and ornate table pieces arranged amongst white roses.  It was so pretty.

Catering on the day was done by luxury wedding caterers Caper & Berry whose food went down a storm with everybody.  I loved the wedding cake.  A winter fairy tale castle.  It fitted Tom and Warren’s theme so perfectly.

The evening party was held back in the centre hall and the lighting team had arranged for snowflakes to be projected onto the hall’s distinctive domed ceiling.  It looked great.  The evening started with a romantic first dance and the DJ was on hand to make sure the dancefloor stayed full all evening.  Not that this lot needed much coaxing.  Tom and Warren’s family and friends were really up for a party.

A grand yet intimate, fun and stylish winter wedding at a beautiful wedding venue.  Congratulations to Tom and Warren for getting married and creating such a memorable day for yourselves, your family and your friends.  I hope my images will enable you to recreate those feelings again and again for many years to come.

If you are looking for someone to capture your wedding, we would love to hear from you
