As award-winning wedding photographers and videographers, we always love returning to capture Foxhill Manor Wedding Photography. Laura and Rob chose the perfect venue for their Spring wedding in the Cotswolds.
Foxhill Manor is a Grade 1 listed Arts and Crafts country home that sits in lush gardens and grounds overlooking the beautiful and historic Cotswold village of Broadway. This private house hotel oozes 5-star luxury and has all the character and charm you would expect from a grand house. Laura and Rob chose Foxhill Manor as it has become one of their favourite stays with their dog Janga. And we can certainly see the appeal. But we’ll get back to all the reasons why we love capturing Foxhill Manor wedding photography later. Let’s start at the beginning of Laura and Rob’s day.
On the day, we caught up with Laura who was getting ready in one of Foxhill Manor’s spacious individually designed suites. She was in the capable hands of hair stylist and make-up artist Victoria Percival.
Laura looked amazing in a gorgeous fitted dress with a sweetheart neckline and beautiful lace details. It skimmed her slender figure perfectly giving her an exquisite silhouette in all of our films and photography. Laura bought it from Little London Brides in Hampshire and had talented seamstress Jackie make such perfect alterations to it, that it looked bespoke.

The wedding party had made the sensible decision to hire the entire house for the weekend. This ensured everybody had a stress-free morning of a leisurely breakfast, a visit to the onsite spa and just exploring the beautiful house and grounds. This really set the tone for the wedding as everybody was just so relaxed and comfortable.
The wedding ceremony was held at St Eadburgha’s church in the picture-perfect village of Broadway. This beautiful 12th-century church has a rich history and remains a central hub for village life to this day. Laura travelled there in style with her brother in a gorgeous vintage Bentley car.
Now we must mention Rob. He looked very smart in a bespoke blue tweed three-piece-suits from The Bespoke Tailor that he wore with a white tie. We met up with Rob at the church who was in the safe hands of his best man and was greeting guests.
The ceremony was held by Reverend Shellie and was beautiful, there were three very sweet bridesmaids and a handsome young pageboy all of whom performed their duties perfectly. And one very special member of the wedding party was Janga the dog, who attended all day and had dressed up for the occasion with a garland of flowers on his dog colour.
After a lovely ceremony, there was a gorgeous confetti moment that we captured beautifully. Here, take a look!

Then everybody headed for Foxhill Manor and enjoyed a drinks reception on the lawn. This brings me to another reason why we love capturing Foxhill Manor wedding photography, and that’s the gardens and grounds. Their perfectly manicured lawn and handsome terrace both offer unbeatable hillside views of the Vale of Evesham and make the most amazing backdrops in our images and film.
The wedding reception was held in the beautiful orangery style ballroom that had been dressed exquisitely in white linen, elegant candles and floral arrangements of greenery with white flowers. Laura had been very specific about the flowers wanting to draw on the surrounding countryside for inspiration. All the flowers on the day were by the clever team at The White Horse Flower Company and looked exquisite.
Whilst adults enjoyed a stunning bespoke three-course meal created by the talented chefs at Foxhill Manor. Children were entertained by Isabella from Pitch Up and Play who offer bespoke wedding entertainment for children at weddings.
After the meal, as guests were happily milling about enjoying exclusive use of Foxhill Manor, we quickly whisked Laura and Rob outside to capture some romantic sunset images of them. The ones we got were better than we could have imagined. Here, take a look!

We then re-joined guests who were enjoying cocktails on the terrace and being entertained by a violinist.
Evening celebrations were back in the ballroom that had been transformed and ready for the party. Laura and Rob enjoyed a romantic first dance. Evening entertainment was courtesy of DJ Matt Maurice who at one point was joined by an electric violinist. He read the room perfectly keeping the dancefloor full all evening, and with the onsite creche offering a film night in the media room and little sleeping dens for children, all of the guests got the chance to party the night away – and boy did they!
We loved filming and photographing Laura and Robs elegant Foxhill Manor wedding. We’ll leave the last words to them. Here are their thoughts on us.
“We woke up the next day to some images and a video – and we couldn’t have asked for more. Even if this was all we were to receive we would be happy. We’re so pleased we decided to have video as well as film. It captures those moments between people, between us as a couple, in a way nothing else can. The moment we are walking back down the aisle at the church after saying our vows – I’ve watched it so many times already. It’s pure joy. And it’s there forever. This is one of the few components of the wedding that lasts forever – I hope we are lucky enough to grow old and be sat looking at these photos and watching the videos together in many years’ time. So go for the best.
Not only did Mick and Ash deliver exceptional photos and videos, but they also added to the day itself – it did not seem intrusive, add any stress or a bother to us in the slightest, in fact, the guests noted they seemed part of the big day. We are not a couple that normally takes a lot of photos, I’m not sure a selfie of us exists, and yet they managed to make us feel at ease.”
