Being a Mallorca Wedding Photographer is awesome, being asked to capture a wedding in Mallorca with an amazing group of people is an honour. We love travelling for weddings and especially for weddings in Spain.
Claire and Andrew had a destination wedding at Hotel Villa Italia in Majorca in the beautiful location of Port D’Adrax. Claire’s mum and dad have a place in Mallorca and having spent many summers there both growing up, with friends and family, getting married in Mallorca was like being home away from home, but with the guarantee of better weather…except it rained on the day…but that’s another story!
The wonderful thing about shooting weddings in Mallorca is that you do get to spend a bit more time with the couple and the wedding party. Sharing hotels (that time you’re doing belly flops in the pool only to discover later that the entire groomsmen party are in and around the pool with you) bumping into familiar faces along the streets, then the wedding in Mallorca itself, then the day after, even in the airport on the way back!!
I’d met Claire before when I covered Georgina and Stuart’s wedding and they both, and Georgina’s parents, were there. Also on this Mallorca wedding, we introduced MIKI Films so add that all into the mix, and it definitely felt difficult to feel like one was working, and more like you were literally on holiday with old friends. Anyway enough rambling from me, I’ll let the photos do the talking.
Congratulations Claire & Andrew, you guys are AWESOME thanks for trusting us for your Mallorca Wedding and to just do our thing so you guys could just relax and enjoy your day….just as it should be…here’s some highlights from the day….
