It really suited our style of documentary wedding photography and we got some amazing images. Here, take a look! Two days later was Aliya and Wseem’s religious ceremony that was held at the Ismaili Centre in South Kensington. Aliya and Wseem looked classic and regal in traditional white. The Ismaili Centre has a roof garden and as the weather was good, we were able to take some great portrait images of Aliya and Wseem outside.Experienced Syon Park wedding photographers and videographersOne day later was Aliya and Wseem’s wedding reception at Syon Park. As experienced Syon Park wedding photographers, we know just how amazing this venue is. One of the last standing grand houses of London, the classical style architecture, palatial interiors and stunning grounds of Syon Park were such a great match for Aliya and Wseem’s vision of their wedding reception. The celebrations started with guests enjoying a welcome drinks reception and enjoying live music from pianist Royal Keys. With guests happily catered for, we quickly whisked Aliya and Wseem away for a few minutes for a romantic a sunset photoshoot in Syon Park’s beautiful gardens. We got some really romantic images, here take a look! The pair of them looked amazing with Aliya in a stunning an exquisitely embroidered lehenga and Wseem looking very smart in traditional black tie. We felt a bit spoilt as these two were so photogenic!Award-winning Asian wedding photography in LondonThe celebration was held in Syon Park’s Great Conservatory which worked perfectly with Aliya and Wseem’s Enchanted Forest theme with greens and purple and hints of exotic jungle thrown in.With the help of the stylists from Peekaboo Events and the production team from Swaha Music, Aliya and Wseem had transformed the space into an uber glamorous venue, with full stage and lighting for entertainment. Catering was provided by award-winning caterers Ragasaan, who really wowed everybody with their delicious treats. There was another impressive wedding cake made by Panache Cake Designs in an enchanted forest theme.Live entertainment was provided by professional dancers The Bollywood Co, and Aliya wowed her guests by performing on stage with them. The first dance for Aliya and Wseem was performed on the stage to live accompaniment from professional Bollywood pianist Royal Keys. This was followed by a live set by DJ Harry Lotay who really got the party started. As experienced Asian wedding photographers, we know the only place to be is on the dancefloor. So, without any thought for our personal safety, we got stuck in and captured some fantastic images and film. Now, in addition to the three ceremonies and one reception. We also captured two ceremonies at Aliya and Wseem’s family homes. The Pithi ceremony is where blessings are giving to the bride and groom from the respective families. This blessing is also known as a turmeric ceremony as turmeric paste is rubbed on the bride and grooms’ arms, legs and face. And the Shinda which is a leaving ceremony which is also known as the crying ceremony. It’s an official send off for the bride by her family where loved ones come to bless to couple and wish them luck in their new lives together. To be trusted to come to our couple’s family homes and capture such significant moments in their lives is always an honour.Stylish Asian wedding photography So that’s Aliya and Wseem’s wedding(s). After which we had a well-earned rest!Congratulations guys and thanks for choosing us to tell the story of your wedding with film and images. We loved it. We’ll leave the last words to Aliya and Wseem, here are their thoughts on us.“The pre wedding shoot was absolutely amazing. I think it’s fair to say that as a guy I didn’t really know the benefit of having a shoot of this nature, that’s until I saw the images and video! The shoot was the perfect way to get to know both Mick and Ash while at the same time get to know how they like to shoot our content and more importantly see how we look on camera. After seeing the content, we were both completely amazed with the results, firstly at how quickly it was turned around and secondly the quality of the content. When looking for a Wedding Photographers we noticed the market was really crowded with “typical Asian wedding photographers” the style was basically the same, very intense posey pictures where the couples look slightly uncomfortable. Our experience with Mick and Ash was far from the this and far from typical! From a guy’s perspective what I really liked was how natural everything was. We were not standing still for long periods of time staring into each other’s eyes. Quite the opposite, it was an active shoot that really took in the surroundings to enhance how Aliya and I both looked. There was very little direction needed as the guys wanted us to stay natural while of course giving us some tips which were very much appreciated! Above all both Mick and Ash’s best qualities are that they made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. It was as if we were being directed by friends as well as professionals. We loved the calm approach as we were able to be present at our wedding and enjoy it with our guests rather than spending hours at time away taking photos and videos, but at the same time they understood the assignment and delivered something magical. We like how they both come dressed up for the wedding events and blend in rather than sticking out.We have already recommended Miki Studios to our family as they are able to capture so many amazing moments but make it individual to each couple. We loved that Mick spent time getting to know us, asking questions about our music tastes, like and dislikes and how we are as a couple. He takes all of this information and incorporates this into the video to make it so personalised and special. We love how the Feature Film is broken up into small sections telling a story of whole wedding week from start to finish. The video captures the occasions and the emotions, watching the videos always makes us miss our wedding week and we can’t believe that was our wedding week as the video makes it look spectacular (which it was)We had a look at various photographers, mainly for Asian weddings and we realised that the style was exactly the same. A lot of the photos that we saw very not very natural and staged. The reason we liked Ash was because he got the right balance of natural photos mixed with traditional wedding photography. We loved how Ash was able to bring in the natural surroundings into the pictures and captured all of our special moments. Ash also captured so many amazing moments of our friends and family. You can tell from the final pictures that Ash puts so much thought and care into his craft. A great example of this is at our Reception Ash took us out for 10 minutes to capture the golden hour and these are some of our favourite pictures. All the pictures are simply breathtaking!” Aliya & Wseem’s wedding gallery is now online!Get the password from the couple and view/order images from their big day by clicking this link:View Aliya & Wseem wedding galleryAs a special thanks for being such awesome guests, there is a 50% off code on all prints.
