love it!","author":{"@type":"Person","name":"philip salisbury","url":"http:\/\/www.philsalisbury.com\/"}}],"about":["Photography & Film"],"wordCount":908,"keywords":["Melissa"],"articleBody":"We always love returning to the beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside for a Hedsor House wedding. \u00a0 This stunning Grade II listed Georgian mansion house sits in 100 acres of beautiful parkland that is perfect for wedding photos. \u00a0Katie and Stefan were looking for a glamorous London wedding venue and fell in love with Hedsor House the second they saw it. \u00a0The style of Katie and Stefan\u2019s winter wedding was elegant glamour, with white decoration, men in black tie and bridesmaids in nude\/subtle pink dresses.\u00a0 This wedding party looked like they\u2019d just stepped out of the pages of Harpers Bazaar magazine. \u00a0On the day, we caught up with Katie who was getting ready in Hedsor\u2019s gorgeous bridal suite, one of the largest in Europe, it has its own private balcony terrace and an enormous luxury bathroom so there was plenty of space for the bridal party, the hair stylist, make-up artist.\u00a0 The girls were in high spirits and there was music and champagne. \u00a0 Before heading off, we captured a really special father seeing the bride moment as well.\u00a0Katie looked stunning in her Berta dress that she bought at The Wedding Club in Knightsbridge.\u00a0 It had beautiful lace detail with an elegant plunging neckline, low scooped back and a fishtail shape that created the most perfect silhouette in all of our images of Katie.\u00a0 The dress really suited Katie and perfectly suited the elegant grandeur of Hedsor House.\u00a0 The dress needed nothing more so Katie cleverly chose a simple chic hand bouquet of white flowers.Now it\u2019s usually the bride that makes the big entrance but at this wedding, it was definitely Stefan who arrived with his best man in a helicopter.\u00a0 Stefan works in the aviation industry so arriving in a helicopter had very much been a dream for him.\u00a0 In full black tie and greeted with a glass of champagne on arrival the whole thing was like a scene from a James Bond film. \u00a0The wedding ceremony was held in Hedsor\u2019s main hall with its spectacular domed ceiling and Katie made a dramatic arrival down Hedsor\u2019s magnificent staircase.\u00a0 After a beautiful ceremony that ended in rapturous applause from Katie and Stefan\u2019s guests, there was an elegant drinks reception. \u00a0And whilst guests happily mingled and drank and enjoyed exclusive use of Hedsor House, we quickly whisked Katie and Stefan away for a few minutes for a few photos.\u00a0 The sun was gorgeously low and setting and we captured some simply stunning sunset images of them on the beautiful grounds.We then headed back to the house and got some really stylish images of the wedding party at the front of the house.\u00a0 We want to mention the talented people at Bubblegum Balloons who decorated the front entrance, windows and balcony with amazing balloon displays that made the perfect backdrop in many of our images. \u00a0Katie and Stefan\u2019s wedding reception was held in the beautiful oak-panelled ballroom.\u00a0 With stunning period features including sparkling hand-cut crystal chandeliers on the ceiling, the tables had been dressed beautifully for the wedding breakfast.\u00a0 The ballroom is a dream space for London wedding photographers, as not only is it beautiful, it is bathed in tons of natural light that floods in through its ceiling-to-floor windows.\u00a0 Katie and Stefan were welcomed to their reception to rapturous applause from their guests. \u00a0There followed a sumptuous wedding breakfast provided by the multi-award-winning caterers Rhubarb followed by some hilarious and very well-received speeches.\u00a0 Evening celebrations were held back in the majestic main hall and started with the cutting of the most beautiful white multi-tiered wedding cake before Katie and Stefan took to the dancefloor for a romantic first dance.\u00a0The white LED dancefloor and ambient pink\/purple lighting created the perfect mood and we captured some really great images of Katie and Stefan.\u00a0 Not that they were on the dancefloor alone for long.\u00a0 Their guests were really up for a party and there was a live band to make sure they got one.\u00a0 And we braved the dancefloor to capture all the fun! \u00a0Stylish documentary wedding photography at Hedsor HouseWe loved documenting Katie and Stefan\u2019s wedding.\u00a0 A glamorous and fun wedding for a glamourous and fun couple.\u00a0 Thanks for having us there guys, we loved it!\u00a0 We\u2019ll leave the last words to Katie and Stefan.\u00a0 Here\u2019s what they had to say about us.\u00a0\u201cMIKI Studios provide a modern and unique approach to wedding photography & videography which is exactly what we wanted.
