Justine & Ben had a small intimate eve wedding reception on Valentines day with 30 of their closest friends including their cute little boy to celebrate them getting married earlier on that day. They invited me to meet them a little bit earlier to take a few couple portraits before it started. Trouble is it was probably one of the windiest and wettest days of the year so far. I initially thought a small walk from the Tube Station to their hotel would be a good idea but turned up drenched. So what do you do when you can’t go outside to take any sort of portraits? Well you have to use what you’re given and try and be creative. Thankfully Justine & Ben were up for doing something a bit different and I think we ended up with what you would definitely say were not your normal Dorchester Wedding Photos. It was then a short Taxi ride to the awesome 34 restaurant (which was so good I took my wife back their later that week for our anniversary!) Before their meal they had three very funny and emotional speeches from Justine’s Dad Ben himself and his best-man. Congratulations Justine and Ben, here’s a few from the eve….
