Voted the best wedding venue in London in 2018, this elegant and sophisticated Grade II listed Georgian mansion is situated in the heart of the famous, Mayfair London.\u00a0 \u00a0Alice looked stunning in a beautiful Watters dress with a fitted corset top with a sweetheart neckline, low back and a gorgeously full skirt embroidered with flowers not to mention the showpiece shoes.\u00a0 Giving her a wonderfully fairy-tale floaty look that suited the majesty of Dartmouth House perfectly.\u00a0 Alex looked very smart in a petrol blue suit, ivory waistcoat and brown brogues from Trotter & Deane .\u00a0\u00a0We captured a beautiful father seeing the bride moment before Alice and her father made their way down the ornate and grand staircase to the ceremony. \u00a0 One of the things we love about shooting photography and wedding film at Dartmouth House is the stunning interiors with grand marble staircases, dark wood, crystal chandeliers and opulent furnishings.\u00a0 All of which made fantastic backdrops in our wedding photographs and film.\u00a0The wedding ceremony took place in The Churchill Room, which features floor-to-ceiling antique Louis XIV walnut panelling.\u00a0 It has a beautifully ornate fireplace with a large antique mirror above it, which Alice and Alex stood in front of to say their vows.\u00a0\u00a0Alice said her vows in French and Alex said his in English and the pair exchanged a fleur-de-lis (iris) and a red rose to symbolise the ancient links between their two countries.\u00a0\u00a0After the ceremony, there was a fun confetti moment outside in the street that we captured beautifully, it was a fantastic moment which we literally stopped the traffic for! Take a look below!\u00a0An elegant drinks reception took place in Dartmouth House\u2019s stunning courtyard, with live musical accompaniment.\u00a0 With its ornate fountain and architectural style, it has the feel of a chateau terrace, so Alice and her family and French friends must have felt quite at home!\u00a0One of the many reasons why we love capturing film and wedding photography at Dartmouth House is that they offer exclusive use which allowed Alice, Alex and their guests free reign of this iconic London location and gave us access to all areas passes to take gorgeous film and photographs of Alice and Alex\u2019s day.\u00a0 Exclusive use venues like Dartmouth House, always create weddings with a wonderfully laid-back vibe as guests are free to wander and explore the venue without feeling penned in.\u00a0The wedding reception was held in the Long Drawing Room, and Alice (who had changed into a gorgeous white beaded knee-length dress) and Alex were rapturously welcomed by their guests before everybody enjoyed a sumptuous wedding breakfast.\u00a0The Long Drawing Room at Dartmouth House, is decorated in the late 18th-century style and features a Robert Adam\u2019s fireplace, beautifully draped full-length sash windows (that very helpfully flood the room with tons of natural light) and a French-style rococo ornate coving and tall ceilings.\u00a0\u00a0Alice and Alex chose Dartmouth House because of its beautiful architecture and interiors which certainly have a French flavour making it the perfect venue for their Anglo-French wedding.\u00a0Evening celebrations started with the cutting of a gorgeous wedding cake before Alice and Alex took to the dancefloor for a romantic first dance.\u00a0 Then it was time for the party to really begin!We had so much fun capturing Alice and Alex\u2019s gorgeous summer wedding in London.\u00a0 Congratulations to Alice and Alex for getting married and thanks for having us there, guys.\u00a0 We loved it!\u00a0 We\u2019ll leave the last words to Alice and Alex, here\u2019s what they had to say about us.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u201cPlease stay active for at least the next 30 years so that we can hire you for my children’s weddings.
