I’m still buzzing from Claire & Jame’s wedding, there was so much emotion on the day, from nerves, laughter, tears back to laughter!!! They were married at Herons Farm Barn and I arrived to a room full off 10 or more girls having their make-up done and an anxious bride desperate to make sure no men especially the groom would manage to catch a glimpse of her and rightly so as she looked amazing! You could tell how much this day meant to everyone, it’s been 11yrs in the making but it was well worth the wait. Claire is one of the most fun-loving brides I’ve meant and James is a sound guy – a stout lad from Leicestershire and the two make a perfect combination. So all those nerves turned into just pure joyous emotion as Claire walked down the isle – there was smiles, laughter all round, plus a few tears. They named there place settings after their favourite 80’s Ballards and everyone sat down to an amazing hog roast plus a delicious wedding and cupcakes made by one of Claire’s good friends. The speeches were amongst some of the most emotional I’ve ever had the pleasure to hear and both women and men had to hold back the tears…including yours truly. In a really nice touch James who had many of his friends there from childhood right through to Uni chose to have his Dad as his best-man so you can imagine how much fun that speech was!!! In the evening we were treated to a mini Cabaret set including a stand-up routine from both Claire’s sister and Claire and James’s good friend. Then we were treated to classic 80’s hits as the DJ cranked up the volume and everyone both young and old boogied away on the dance floor. Congratulations Claire & James, thanks for letting me be part of your awesome day, here’s some from the day.
