The Regent Porto in Montenegro is a five-star luxury wedding venue, imagine a hotel nestled on the palm-fringed shores along the Adriatic coast with beautiful clear blue sea and dotted with luxury yachts.\u00a0 In fact, you don\u2019t have to imagine just take a look at these images.\u00a0 Shooting wedding photography at the Regent Porto really is a dream booking. \u00a0We met Abi and Kenny back when we did their pre-wedding shoot in Paris (these two are well travelled) so it was lovely to see them again.\u00a0 If you get 5 minutes, take a look at the images from the Pre-Wedding Shoot here, trust me, its another cooker!\u00a0 We shot both the photographs and the video for their wedding which was lovely as it really gives a full view of their amazing day. To see the film, click here!\u00a0Now you\u2019d think that at a luxury wedding at a five-star hotel in Montenegro nothing could go wrong…..\u00a0 Turns out in can!\u00a0 Whilst the Regent Porto had everything in place the weather didn\u2019t behave.\u00a0 Lightning struck the fueling system at Stanstead airport causing flights to be cancelled and a few guests along with the DJ and make-up artist not make it.\u00a0 We were so impressed with how un-phased Abi and Kenny were with this setback.\u00a0 They stayed focus and took it in their stride.\u00a0 (Not a tear, tantrum or hissy fit in sight!). Both Mick and I would have been having kittens if this was us!\u00a0Added to this the ceremony was due to start at 4 pm however due to a heavy downpour of rain at 3 pm the wedding was put back an hour.\u00a0 Again this change was met without drama (surely evidence that these two are in it for the long haul.)\u00a0 Putting the ceremony back an hour was a sensible move as the sun did eventually come through.Abi looked absolutely stunning as did her bridal party.\u00a0 Kenny looked resplendent in a stunning jacket with his grooms\u2019 party in petrol blue suits.\u00a0 This super stylish wedding party set against the jet setters backdrop of Montenegro Port looked like the very essence of glamour.\u00a0 This was a seriously stylish wedding. The image of Kenny laughing at the camera has given us many wedding photography awards, including Rangefinder Image of the Day.The ceremony was held on the pier underneath the most exquisite flower arch followed by an elegant meal in the main hotel.\u00a0 Speeches were emotional and very well received before everybody moved onto the Yacht Club for the first dance and party.\u00a0 The late sunshine turned into a beautiful sunset and we made the best of the light and got some beautiful and romantic sunset portraits shots of Abi and Kenny.\u00a0 We love it when a wedding surprises us with something ingenious and at Abi and Kenny\u2019s it was the dancefloor erected over the pool.\u00a0 We have no doubt that the DJ that couldn\u2019t make it was very talented.\u00a0 But honestly, the way these guys partied more than made up for it!
