I\u2019ve been privileged to shoot a number of weddings here, yet every time I\u2019m struck by its beauty and majesty; making it one of the leading wedding venues in Cheshire.\nWith its sprawling gardens, rich history, inspiring interiors, and great customer service, Dorfold Hall has it all. In case you didn\u2019t know, Dorfold Hall is a grade 1 listed Jacobean house, that was built for King James to visit. It\u2019s rich history spans back to the 1600s, and is traceable to the family that still owns it today. As a family run business, you get a sense of real pride from the owners, with plenty of personal touches that make a wedding day so special.\n\nThe weather was perfect which was great as Jess, Ed and their guests could make the most of Dorfold Hall\u2019s garden and grounds. On arrival, everybody enjoyed a drinks and canapes reception.\u00a0 Canapes were carefully chosen by Jess and Ed to represent foods from places where they have lived or travelled to and they were delivered to guests from the front basket of a vintage bike (a quirky touch that went down really well!)\n\nThe marquee was EPIC. \u00a0They were the clever creation of local florist Lily Rose Events (who also provided the flowers in the church). As Jess and Ed met at British Airways and both love to travel there were a few travel-themed quirks along the way (we love the quirks at weddings, they reveal something of the couple\u2019s personalities) \u00a0So the table plan was a world map with tables named after their favourite destinations.\u00a0\u00a0 After everybody was happily fed and watered there were some entertaining and emotional speeches that we know were one of the favourite parts of the day for Jess and Ed.\n\nAmazing is the only word we can use to describe the evening reception.\u00a0 As sunset the marquee was romantically lit with candles along with a fire pit just outside the marquee blending the inside and outside spaces seamlessly.\u00a0 Jess and Ed hired a brilliant 9 piece band for evening entertainment.\u00a0 Ed and Jess enticed us briefly onto the dancefloor so we could cut a few shapes of our own!\n\nCongratulations Jess and Ed for getting married and thanks for letting us in to tell
