Dorchester hotel wedding photography – Juste and Mike
Yay! Weddings are back! And we had the best time photographing and filming Juste and Mike’s amazing wedding at The Dorchester Hotel in London. We love love, love capturing wedding photography at The Dorchester. This iconic London hotel was the perfect wedding venue for Juste and Mike’s stylish wedding. But we’re getting ahead of ourselves. We’ll get back to all the reasons why we love shooting wedding videography and wedding photography at The Dorchester later. Let’s start at the beginning of Juste and Mike’s Day.
They’d always wanted a large wedding but the pandemic delayed their plans until this year when they realised that Juste’s family were one way and another going to be in London in May. So Juste and Mike decided to take the opportunity to get married (even though they were expecting their second child at the time). They managed to organise their Dorchester wedding in just six weeks!
On the wedding day, we got there early to get some images of these two as they made their wedding preparations. They both looked amazing. Juste wore an utterly stunning dress by designer Elbeth Gillis, that totally suited her and Mike wore a black tux and bow tie. The pair of them going for a look of old-fashioned vintage glamour that worked so perfectly with the timeless elegance of The Dorchester Hotel.
The wedding ceremony was held at the Fitzrovia Chapel. This Grade II listed chapel is a hidden gem for sure! Architecturally and historically rich, its interiors are just stunning. And because it has a capacity for 50 people was the perfect ceremony space for Juste and Mike’s 30 guests. After a gorgeous ceremony, there was a chance for some photographs before everybody excitedly headed to The Dorchester Hotel for the reception. Juste and Mike travelling in the most beautiful wedding car a Rolls-Royce.
Juste and Mike booked The Dorchester’s elegant Orchid Room for their wedding reception. The Orchid Room at The Dorchester has beautiful pale Wedgewood blue interiors, high chandeliered ceilings and gentle lighting. Elegant and calm, it’s the perfect space for a stylish wedding reception. The space is so beautiful that it requires little adornment so the neutral and white tones in the flowers and decoration were perfect. With fewer guests, Juste and Mike were able to splash out on silver service and everybody enjoyed a sumptuous wedding breakfast.
